Recipe: Misa's Perfect Protein Balls

It's not easy finding food that is healthy, packed with protein, easy to make, and travel-friendly, which is why we love these Power Protein Balls. On top of being a STRIDE co-founder + coach, Misa Dugally, also finds time to be the acting chef for the studio, keeping us stocked with healthy, delicious snacks and smoothies. Find the recipe below for one of her most-requested snacks.

Misa's Power Protein Balls

  • 1 C Nut/Seed Butter (peanut, cashew, almond, sunflower)
  • 1/2 C Protein powder
  • 1/4 C rolled oats
  • 1/4 finely chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, seeds)
  • 2 TBSP Agave nectar
  • 2 TBSP coconut oil
  • Optional add ins:
  • 1/4 mini cocoa chips
  • 1/4 dried fruit, chopped dates raisins berries etc
  • 1/8 shredded coconut
  • Optional, chia seeds

Mix ingredients together thoroughly. Roll 1 inch balls. If using any extras, roll through shredded coconut, chia seeds, cocoa powder or ground nuts.

Store in closed container in the refrigerator, soften to room temp before eating for best flavor. Can be stored for up to a month in the refrigerator.
